Charlotte M. Palmer
Charlotte, age 94, passed away on May 24, 2013 in Kirkland, WA. She was born Dec. 28, 1918 in Centralia, WA to John and Nancy Loughran. She was a life-long Washington resident, a graduate of Buckley High School and spent many years in Issaquah where she raised her family before moving to Seattle.
She worked at Bank of America, at many branch locations, retiring in 1981 after 35 years of service.
Charlotte had many friends, loved to entertain and enjoyed dancing, bowling, golf and traveling. Being especially proud of her Irish heritage, her travels took her to Ireland; and she never missed a St Patrick's Day celebration.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her sister Teresa Thompson. She is survived by son, Dr. Fred Palmer (Patti) and daughter Sandy Thomas (Richard), five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Angela Semerjiants, owner of Abundance Love Family Home in Kirkland, and staff member Marija for their compassion, kindness and the excellent care they provided our mother for the last 2 & 1/2 years of her life.
At her request there will be no services.
