We are deeply saddened by David's passing. Our utmost condolences to you, Michele, and to David's daughters and all his family. As David's secretary for many years I knew firsthand of his deep and genuine love for his family. You were so fortunate to have had him. I enjoyed having him in my life, too, especially appreciating his sensitivity, his artistic talents, and his sense of humor. Doug worked with him, too. We are remembering him today and wishing you Peace.

It is with profound sadness that I learn of David's passing just two weeks before a planned visit to Seattle.
He was two years ahead of me in architecture school and was a guide for me, an immigrant, in helping enlisting me in the Army Reserve and later in inviting me to join his architecture firm and introducing me to handball.
I send my sincere condolences to his family and kin, and indeed to all who knew him and who appreciated his sense of humour and steady realism.
