Donn Sibold, a University of Washington graduate, Seattle Architect, and father passed away peacefully in Bremerton at the age of 90. He was a resident of the Veterans Home in Port Orchard. Born in Seattle, he attended Roosevelt High School and the University of Washington where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and a varsity basketball player. His education was interrupted by WWII where he served in the South Pacific and China as a Marine Corps Infantry Lieutenant. After the war he graduated from the School of Architecture at U of W where he met his wife Norma DeLong. He began his career as an architect for Washington State Parks and started his own business in the early1950s in Seattle where he practiced until retirement. His architecture and planning can be seen throughout Washington State in such places as Port Ludlow, San Juans, and Lake Chelan. He raised his family in Laurelhurst and moved to Indianola, Washington with his wife in later years. Donn was a remarkable athlete who enjoyed skiing, golfing, and sailboat racing most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his brother Gene Sibold and is survived by his wife Norma Sibold, sister in law Margaret Sibold, 3 children Emily, Claire, John and 3 grandchildren. Per his request the family is planning a private memorial service.
