Dear Emily, my heart broke when you dad told me of your early departure. I know he loved you very much as we all did. I still have a photo of my mom holding you in her arms when you were just an infant. I wish we had stayed in touch more. I'll ask my mom to watch over you in your new home. I've always loved your family, somehow you dad and I drifted apart after High School. Lives just get busier when you grow up. Maybe you can put in a good word for me with the "Big Man" upstairs when you get there. I'll keep you in my heart and prayers now forever... 'Uncle' Vince

There is no greater emptiness than losing one's child. I will always remember Emily as the carefree child that I saw...
