My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Erma. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure when it fills your heart with love and brings you joy. May you find comfort in Jesus promise of the hope of everlasting life on earth at John 6:40.

Mrs Couden was an amazing teacher/librarian. Six of the Clifton children attended E.C. Hughes after we moved to Holden Street. Her kindness and love of books was a huge influence on each of us. Her legacy lives on in our enjoyment of reading and appreciation for the great education we received at that wonderful school.
