Everett (Tom) MOORE Age 79. Passed away 9-1-08 at home in Edmonds, WA after a brief illness with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Dolores, of 54 years, son Michael Moore (Debra), daughter Patricia Payne (Bradley), 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He attended the U of W and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. After graduating from college he joined the Coast Guard and completed O.C.S. in New London, Connecticut. He retired as Commander after 20 years in the Coast Guard Reserve. He was a Mason with Valley Lodge 71 in Orting, WA and a member of Shoreline Probus Club. He worked for Dubois Chemical for 33 years. Tom loved to fish, travel, cook, dance, and take in sports. His family and friends will miss his dry sense of humor, smile, and loving ways. The family thanks Providence Hospice for their guidance and special care. A memorial will be held at Edmonds United Methodist Church, October 11, 2008 at 2 p.m. Donations can be made to Providence Hospice or Edmonds United Methodist Church Food Bank. Tom's parents were very good friends of my parents in Orting. My maiden name was Carolyn Coe.
So sorry to read of Tom's death.
