I met Frank though his son Evan in high school. Whenever I visited their home, I felt like family, and I was invited to many family functions. I most appreciated how Frank openly showed love and affection for everyone he cared about. A truly genuine person, and a wonderful example for all of us.

A great wit, a great sense of humor, and a very giving person. Frank continues to be an inspiration to so many, including me.

Like so many others, I am saddened by Frank's passing. I met him through his eldest son Evan, who was a schoolmate. It's been a few years since I saw Frank but can still remember that BIG smile of his. I believe that everyone whose path crossed Frank's, left feeling a little better that day. Rest in peace, my friend.

Frank was a very special friend. We worked together at West Seat High School for many years. I agree that he seemed younger than he was. In fact I was surprised to learn I was only two years older. I'm sorry the memorial will be in Oregon. Bless you, Ginny. I remember you well. Carol Robertson. Others on the staff with us were Sally Henry and Lois Benson.

Frank and Virginia were my favorite parents of friends( Reid and Colin) all through jr. high and sr high schools. Both were kind and understanding (especially when it came to teenage boys and their friends) Frank was our B-ball coach and was incredibly patient with our team of head cases. He always seemed like he was younger than his true age. My thoughts are with Virginia and the boys. Gery Schuh- Pleasant Hill

Frank & Ginny were our GREAT neighbors. here in Seattle, for many, many years. We've missed them both, but know their move to Oregon was the right choice for them. Being closer to family is always the best.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was saddened to see the obituary in the Sunday paper. I was shocked also to see Frank's age. He was so full of youthful energy throughout his life. He seemed to be twenty years younger than his true age. I worked with Frank at Rainier Beach High School and always knew him to be a kind and caring presence to the students and the staff. He will be fondly remembered and missed. God bless you.
