Unexpectedly and without warning he left us on April 9, 2004 and we lost our son, our brother, our uncle, our father and husband. He is also survived by his parents Ann Wiltse (Keith), Jerry Ryder (Ann Norton), his sister Ginger Ryder (George Muttart) and step sisters and brothers Evelyn Patrick (Ivan), Kari Bracken (Joe), Todd Wiltse (Brenda), Jessie Norton, Polly Norton (David) and his mother-in-law, Luetta Jermulowske His many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews that he enjoyed enthusiastically will miss him as well. We'll miss you and love you for the rest of our lives. Memorial Services will be held Monday, April 19 at 3 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 14230 S.E. Newport Way in Bellevue. Gerald was a fine man that will be missed very much. In addition to being a colleague I counted him also as a friend. He was always very dedicated to doing the best possible job for those he was serving at work. He was also very willing to take the time to sit down with you and talk and just be a friend.

I want to pass on to Gerald's family and closest friends that Gerald's life impacted a number of people including myself in a very positive manner. Please accept my deepest and sincerest condolences for the loss of such a special person. My prayers will continue to be with all of you during this time of great loss.

Sincerely,

Nancy Castellina

I will always remember JR as "Tim the Tool Man". When I think of JR, I think of goggles, an apron and a bandana, certainly his favorite attire. It is hard to believe he is gone, but he will not be forgotten.
