Ida Gray Obituary

Ida M. Gray, MSW

Long time Seattle Social Worker and Psychotherapist

Ida Gray was a woman of incredible wit, worldly wisdom and loving kindness. She passed away peacefully in the presence of family on April 5, 2013. Her passing marked the end of a 93 year life filled with family, friends, travel and caring for those in need. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Raymond Gray and her daughter Rachel Helen Gray who passed away in October 2012. She is survived by her son Raymond Gray (Jr) and three grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, May 20, at 4PM at The Central, Central Area Senior Center, 500 30th Ave S, Seattle. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Central at the above address or the charity of your choice.

I have lovely memories as a child of parties and gatherings at Ida's house with her and her family. She was an incredibly sweet person. The world was a better place for she was in it. She will be missed by many.
