James "Jim" Lawrence Skoog

Age 76, Jim died peacefully Friday, December 21, 2018 at Chaplaincy Hospice House (Kennewick) following a long battle with leukemia.

Jim was born March 9, 1942 to Lawrence "Bob" and Lenora (Martin) Skoog in Seattle, Washington. He retired in 2009 from Tom's Automotive (West Seattle), where he worked as an automotive technician for over 30 years. In 2010, he moved from Seattle to Kennewick.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Anthony Nichols.

Jim is survived by his wife, Wanda; daughter, Debbie James; grandchildren, Kyle and Shayna; son, Steve (Nickie) Skoog; grandsons, Zachary and Gavin; daughter, Ginger (Andy) Lancaster; grandsons, Joey and Henry; daughter, Shaelynn (Joel) Nolan; grandchildren, Bethany, Alex, and Elaina; sister, Barbara (Randy) Hieronymus.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Parish of the Holy Spirit, 7409 W. Clearwater, Kennewick on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at 11am followed by a luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Chaplaincy Hospice House (1480 Fowler St., Richland, Washington, 99352) or your favorite charity would be appreciated.
