DR Tucker was my doctor from being born to later in early life. He was the greatest doctor to have as a child. At his office at Northgate hospital he had these great wooden trucks with wheels I remember playing on. I met him later in life because I live up the street from him. I went to his house and we talked. He wanted to know how my mother was doing because later in her life had MS. I felt so honored to be taking to such a great doctor I always remember his as a great mental person

Oh, I'm going to miss you, Dr. Tucker. You made the world a much brighter, kinder, healthier place. You led by example and kept us all engaged, focused on the important things in life. You raised a beautiful and intelligent family. You accomplished so much and yet always had time for everyone… even the kid sister of your daughter-in-law. We are so very lucky to have had you in our lives.

My family had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Tucker for the past 6 years, when we moved into LFP. Dr. Tucker was very dear to us and visited the "school bus bench" (a bench he had moved from his yard to the bus stop for all kids and adults to enjoy while waiting for the morning school bus) frequently, usually carrying some special treasures to hand out to each child. On special holidays, Dr. Tucker would bring out a treasure box full of goodies from either "the Easter Bunny" or the "Leprechaun"! He made a point of knowing each child's name and greeted them personally. Even as a retired pediatrician, Dr. Tucker continued to be involved with the children and had a very special connection, in particular, with our son, Jack. The bus stop will never be the same.....we miss you so much Dr. Tucker and will miss our morning coffee together at the bench.

Dr. Tucker was such a wonderful pediatrician and a great man. At the age of 19, I asked for an appointment as I worked at Nordstrom which was across from Northgate Hospital at the time, they told me I could come in. When Dr. Tucker came in the room he chuckled and said "Sally, it's nice to see you but you really need a doctor for adults" and his smile was just so warm you couldn't not feel better just seeing him. We also attend the same church so I have been blessed to see him weekly for a long time. I am so sad, I was just speaking of him and telling my story to a friend not more than a week ago. He was also amazing with my daughter with autism as he was the only doctor that actually gave her help at 8 months. No one in New Jersey figured out what was making her sick and Dr. Tucker did in the first 5 minutes. Love him....... Blessings to all the family.

This is a year of sadness, as I have lost many things close to me, including now Dr. Tucker. He was my doctor from infancy until I too outgrew his chairs at the age of 18. I recall the visits to him at Northgate and the smells of medicine and rubbing alcohol as I walked the corridor to his office, but I had no fear because he was Dr. Tucker! My older brother (who passed away also this year) and I referred to his nurse Pricilla as "Penicillin" and we thought that was hilarious. Dr. Tucker saw me through tonsillitis, pneumonia, ulcers and a premature ventricular heartbeat with the upmost of compassion and care. I looked up to Dr. Tucker then, and will always hold him in the highest esteem. My condolences to his family and I thank you for sharing this man with me.

When I came into this world in 1954, I was greeted by Doctor Tucker. Next to my father, the finest man I ever met. Within the small family we have, and the resulting kids he was such a talented gift from God. I remember years ago walking into the Emergency Roon at Northwest Hospital one day and here was Doctor Tucker. I asked him what he was doing here on what I thought was his day off, he said Pat this is how I stay up with you young guys, I treat everything. Doctor Tucker finally tossed me out of his office when I was 23, he said I was to big for the chairs, but it was not without a fight. Your Father was a kind loving, gentle man who I will remember forever. For our family he worked so hard, but we were the ones that gained so much for having known him. God Bless him and my sincere sympathy at your loss.

I'm one of many "multiple generation" patients of Dr Tucker. I went to him when I was a little girl and I took my oldest son to him as well. A great Doctor and a great Soul. Many blessing to the family.

Even tho I only lived in North Seattle a short time, as a young mother, I appreciciated Dr. Tucker's care, concern, and humor when treating my baby. I'm sorry for your loss.
