Kathleen Cremeens Obituary
PEORIA – Kathleen Atchley Cremeens, 87, of Peoria, died at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017, and has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior.
Kathleen was born on July 11, 1929, in Lewistown, Ill. to Elmer T. and Jenny (Barrett) Arnett. She married Jack Atchley on June 8, 1947, in Lewistown, he preceded her in death on April 20, 1970. Kathleen later married Homer B. Cremeens on April 19, 1975, in Peoria, he preceded her in death on June 10, 1994.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and a sister.
Kathleen is survived by her sons, Terry L., Keith (Toni), and Joseph L. (Elaine) Atchley; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a longtime member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Kathleen was a talented seamstress and used her gift in many ways throughout her life.
A visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria. A private burial will take place at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton, Ill.
Memorial donations may be made to her church.
