Jeffrey Craig HEMPEL In Loving Memory August 29, 1965 ~ September 5, 2010 Jeff Hempel passed away at his home on September 5, 2010. He was born on August 29,1965 in Walla Walla, WA. Jeff is survived by his loving wife Donna Morden Hempel and step-son Harley Morden of Lynnwood, WA. He also leaves behind his three wonderful daughters Arianna, Alyssa and Angelina Hempel of Kingston, WA. Mother Elaine Wadsworth of Burien, WA and Parents Loren and Chris Hempel of Walla Walla, WA. Sister Kari Hempel Binner, brother-in-law Jim and niece Bethany Binner of Burien, WA. Sister Kim Hempel Hudson, brother-in-law Greg, nieces Nikki and Kailee Hudson of Walla Walla, WA. Several cousins, aunts and uncles. There will be a service held at Unity Church, 16727 Alderwood Mall Pky at 3 pm Friday 9/10/10. Jeff was always the guy who lit up the room at WaMu. I would periodically walk by his cube just to see him and try to talk for a few minutes. Talking with Jeff brightened my day, every single time. He always seems full of life and energy. He would talk about his family and what they were doing for the weekend with such excitement, you'd start to wish you could go along! Jeff was a great guy - I am a better person for having known him. Thanks for the laughs and the memories, Jeff!

I am terribly sad about Jeff and am choosing to remember him fondly singing and playing the guitar. He was quite a character and I am grateful for the time he was with us. My heart goes out to the whole family (especially his 3 girls). I have 3 of my own and can only imagine what sadness they must be going through. Love and best wishes.

Jeff, I remember waiting outside St.Mary's hospital while Mom was having you. (She tossed a treat out the window to me.) You were my baby brother, and through out our lives you had more influence on me than most realize.
As siblings we had good and not so good times of course, but you were always so funny, and caring. I remember you standing up for me when bullies were teasing me. "Leave my sister ALONE!" :)
I still cannot fathom that you are actually gone!! How can this be? I spent the last 45 years of my life with you and now I will have to keep your loving spirit alive in my heart.

And NO I don't think anyone will "pull your finger" in Heaven!! Teeheehee!!
