Khabir R. REMMU October 6, 2001 - June 14, 2005 Khabir fought a courageous battle against Neuroblastoma for over two years. He is survived by his Mother, Sakara Remmu, his sister Jada and brother Majestik, his grandparents Roy Hays and Deborah Terry-Hays, uncles Andrew Hays (Laytisha) and Tim Hays (Melissa), his Aunt Be-Asia Jewel, his great grandparents Robert and Frances Terry, and Iva Hays, and cousins Kailani Hays, Maya Hays, MacKenzie Hays, Essence Jewel and Asase Jewel. He is also survived by numerous great uncles and aunts and a host of friends. Special thanks to Earl Richardson for providing the love that only a father could give, and Dr. Ben Danielson for his loving medical care and support to the family. There will be a Memorial Service for Khabir on Sunday, June 26, 2005 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Mount Baker Community Club; 2811 Mt. Rainer Dr. S. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that you make a donation to the Baby Khabir Memorial Fund, at any Washington Mutual Bank Branch. I just read Khabir's story and am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. There are no words to properly respond to all that he, and you all, endured and continue to endure. You all are all in my thoughts.
