Lena Lambo

Lena Lambo, 95, of West Seattle, passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Lena was born in Seattle to Felix and Antoinette Colagrossi, on February 9, 1921. At age 20, Lena met and married, Joseph Lambo. Joe, soon went off to war and Lena began working as an elevator operator for many of the large Seattle department stores. Upon Joe's return from war, she assisted him in running his ornamental iron business. They resided over 40 years at their condo on Alki Beach where Lena was proud to be resident manager of the condominium for many years. Joe and Lena were married just under 70 wonderful years. After Joe's death in 2011, Lena was surrounded by family and friends. And was especially grateful for the shopping trips, holiday gatherings and the many goodies, flowers & cards often left at her door.

Lena will be joyfully received in heaven by her husband, Joe, her parents, her sister, Mary, Joe's parents and brother and sister-in-law, Art and Shirley Lambo. Lena is survived by her nieces and nephews, Michael Lambo, Cindy Lambo, Robbie Kaytor, Gene Stout and their families as well as Mary Lu Angstead and other cousins. Additionally, a special thanks to Larry & Katie Messenger, Katie Larsh, Dr. Ralph Rossi and many others for your love and kindness.

Please join us for a graveside service to be held on Monday, July 18th at 11:00am at Lakeview Cemetery, 1554 15th Ave East, Seattle, Washington.
