So very sad to hear of Lisa´s passing. She wrote my will 30 years ago. I remember how lovely it was to meet with her and be perfectly comfortable with both her professional advice and being able to be completely open about my personal life. My heartfelt condolences to her family.

I wanted to refer a client to Lisa so I Googled her to get contact info. Instead I learned she has passed. Oh my, I’m sad and this world is lessened by her passing. She was a wonderful person and definitely one of a kind. So glad our lives crossed paths.

Lisa helped us establish a legal framework for building our family with a dear friend as a donor a dozen years ago. She was so encouraging and positive and able to work with individual situations, no matter how unconventional. We had honestly approached the need for a legal contract with eyerolling and skepticism, but she really made us feel welcome and supported and confident that we could make a contract that worked for us in a meaningful way. Above all we really enjoyed getting to know her in the process of having our four children. We will miss her kindness and warmth and quick wit, and we just knew her as repeat clients... and I'm sure she leaves an enormous void behind her for those who knew her better. We hope that happy memories will be a comfort to you in these sad times, as well as the knowledge that Lisa's compassion and competence touched so many lives.

Marcee and family, my condolences. Lisa was such a bright soul. We first met at a NWLGBT Senior Care Providers meeting - we hit it off. Her insight, humor, love of life shone through whenever we met for lunch or a chat. She will be truly missed and forever remembered.

Lisa was such a Champion for our community. A great loss, and my condolences to her wife, and family. Every LGBT person owes a debt of gratitude to Lisa and her family for her work on adoption rights and so many other legal benefits we now enjoy. Deeply saddened, and gone too soon.

Lisa, your kindness, generosity, and support of our community was remarkable. I was referred to you by two of your clients who said that if I was going to work with the LBGT community, then I needed to talk to you. They were right. When we met, you gave me a lesson on how to earn the trust of our community and my first assignment was to join the GSBA. You lived your example and taught us all how we will be stronger by supporting each other. Our tribute will be to pass this lesson forward.

Lisa was a wonderful person who I was honored to meet through the GSBA. Her kindness and dedication to social action for the less fortunate in our community will live on and have a lasting effect on all of us who knew her. Sending my sincere condolences to her wife and family during this sad time.

So very sorry for this huge loss. I remember meeting Lisa at one of my very first GSBA luncheons about 22 years ago. She was a brilliant business woman.
