Lucy NcCorchuk Obituary

Lucy Therese NcCORCHUK Our loving mother passed away peacefully on the morning 01-10-07. Mom found enjoyment in raising her seven children, going out to lunch, and loving her cat. She often spoke highly of her friends and the Guild members at Holy Rosary Church in Edmonds. Her company was cherished by all who came in contact with her especially the neighbors on 84th Avenue. She loved to be around her grandchildren, Dustin and Bryce NcCorchuk, April Sergneri, Brett Schulz, and great grandchild, Xavier NcCorchuk. Mom is survived by sons, Garnet, Bud, and Roy, daughters, Karen Schulz, Annette Sergneri, and Joy Crockett and her devoted caregiver, Kim. Mom, you will be missed beyond measure, say hello to Dad and Brian and let them know that we are all looking forward to being together again. There will be a Mass in celebration of Mom's Life on Saturday, January 20th 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 630 7th Avenue North, Edmonds.

Dear Bud and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved mother. Although I never had the priveledge of meeting your mom she had to be a very special person as she raised you and your siblings all to be kind, loving and very special individuals. Let it bring you peace assured that your mom has gone home to Heaven where she has been reunited with those she has loved here on earth that have gone home before her and she is safe in the loving arms of our Saviour. Take care of yourself and those you love and know that my heart and prayers are with you at this time. Donna J. Bertsch /Class of 73"

Your mom was such a special lady. She was funny, thoughtful and most of all she had a true sense of Style. I recall an incident in the '70s at a VFW Rummage Sale. We were sorting through a huge pile of some nearly new shoes. Your mom had found a gorgeous high heel and was in search of its mate when she spotted it in the hand of another woman. She took one look at the poorly dressed woman and handed her the prized shoe without a moment's hesitation. I gasped and taking your mom aside asked if she knew who that woman was. She replied no. I told her..that woman was one of the richest women in Woodway. Your mom just looked at me, over to the woman, back to me and with that mischievous smile said.."Well, she needs some Style!"
That was your mom...and just one of the reasons...I Loved Lucy
