Maelo (Kruse) AMICK Maelo was born Sept 24, 1917 in Okaton, South Dakota, and passed away on March 8, 2012 in Shoreline, Washington. Interment was in Sunset Hills Memorial Park. Maelo did a lot of Volunteering at The Department of Veteran's Affairs, receiving a certificate for 5268 hours, and 25 years of volunteer service to veterans. She owned her own beauty shop when living in South Dakota. She is survived by her sons Vernon (Diane) Kruse, 5 stepchildren, 17 step grandchildren, and 31 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon O. Kruse, son Bryan Kruse, and her late husband Robert Amick. At her request there will be no service.
