Martin and I were friends and roommates in college, and then housemates again a few years ago. Martin and I laughed a lot together, talked sci-fi and computers until we were hoarse, and traded reading material and recommendations frequently. My family and friends got to know him well, and enjoyed his company at many get-togethers. He even broke down and wore a tropical shirt at my wedding - stylish for Martin! I will miss him very much, but am thankful we had many years of friendship. My deepest sympathies go to his family and friends.
