Mary Murray Obituary

Mary Ann Murray

Mary passed away Monday, May 19th, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Mary was born in Enumclaw, WA on November 29th, 1963. She attended Martin Luther Prep School in Wisconsin, graduating in 1982. She then attended Alaska Pacific University, graduating with her degree in 1984. It was here that she meets the love of her life, her husband of 32 years, Ray Murray. The couple relocated to the Puget Sound area. Mary worked for the Warwick Hotel, Holland America, and the Shoreline School District. In 2002 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and retired in 2003.

She fought the fight at the same time raising her two children. Shannon Lynn Murray 18 and Connel Dean Murray 15. She was actively involved with the Mukilteo clubs, volunteering with the schools, and always willing to lend a hand or an ear.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mary, you were my very best friend ever. My "second cousin, twice removed". Your smile, laughter and love of life brightened the world for everyone. Shannon, Dean and Ray were blessed with the best mom and wife anyone could imagine. Thank you for being my friend. I'll never forget you and never stop missing you. xou phred

Mary is one my sisters. She brightened up the day with her smile and laughter. She had many talents, like making you feel like you were most essential person in her life. Ray, Shannon and Dean I am so sorry that she had to leave for Heaven so soon. I pray that the LORD comfort you.
John 16:22 So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. (Jesus' words)
