Melissa Selin Obituary
On Sunday, March 4, 2018, our beloved and beautiful "Missi" Melissa Ann Selin was welcomed into her heavenly home and is now forever safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. While our hearts ache with grief, we rejoice in her victory and know that she beholds the face of her Heavenly Father, and is experiencing the purest love and complete joy of heaven.
Missi was born on November 21,
1978, to Ted and Diana Selin. She is survived by her parents, her brother Christopher Selin, sister Lisa Selin Howard, brother-in-law Jake Howard; her adoring niece and nephews; Grandmother Barbara Selin as well as many cousins, aunties and uncles.
Missi grew up in Bothell, WA, graduated from Bothell High School, and spent her recent years serving the elderly. She left a lasting legacy of love and devotion to her parents as she most expertly cared for her Dad and was key to his recovery from a serious illness. She had quit her job and lived a very sacrificial lifestyle taking care of their every need, around the clock for well over a year.
Missi will always be remembered for her love of family, love of children, her humility, her kindness and her beautiful smile that could warm you to the depth of your heart. Missi was the type of person who would come up and talk to you if she saw you standing alone, and touched many lives with her caring heart, wonderful sense of humor and infectious laughter.
Missi was a precious gift from God to our family and we will miss her so deeply and will always cherish the memories we have of her. Our hearts are broken and yet we do not grieve as those without hope. Our hope is centered entirely on Jesus, so we now completely give her back, and entrust her to our Loving Heavenly
Father, and truly look forward to the day when we will see her again.
Funeral is Tuesday March 13th at
Northlake Christian Church
19029 North Rd, Bothell, WA 98012
Visitation starts at 10:00 a.m. and the funeral starts at 11:30 a.m., both at the church.
In lieu of flowers people can make a donation to Lifecenter Northwest.

So sweet. So cute. So lovable. I remember great instant coffee with cream and sugar at Grandma and Grandpa Potts house and fun at the Matthews Beach Playground by the "little house by the lake. You were good at helping older people even when you were a little girl. Miss you. We will see you. God's Peace.

You all are in my most sincerest of thoughts. Missi's genuine sensarity, generosity of kindness & love for her family always showed in her. Her character, devotion to kindness and transparency of love are a gift she gave freely. So sorry for your loss. Such an unexpected event that shocked everyone who knew Missi. I met Missi through my cousin Mathias and have fond memories of her cooking. I would visit their Lynnwood house from time to time and the girl was always cooking something...ALWAYS. I made it a point to stop by Missi's place when stopping by to visit the boys that lived next door just to see what dish Missi was concocting and the taste test never disappointed. Our condolences to the family through this troubling time. Cant imagine the feeling of losing such a positive individual that cared for so many people. Love to the family.

Oh sweet Missi! You will be dearly missed. Your sense of humor and fun loving personality was always something we adored. We promise to watch over your amazing family, no one could ever fill your shoes but I know everyone will try their best. Rest In Peace sweetie, we will see you again one day....
