The Grennan Family was always the most active and exciting on Sunnyside. Theirs was a house full of male energy, and lots of love. My memories of your family are very warm. I am sorry to hear about Michael but am glad to know that he has been surrounded by his family during his illness. My Mother (Cleo) and I send our condolences to your entire family.

With deepest sincere sympathy to Michael's family and friends. I hope you remember all the great times you shared with him. I wasn't as fortunate. I met Michael in February when he was looking to purchase a home. I remember his schedule always being full with triing to help others less fortunate than himself. He had a heart of gold! He was always cheery, thoughtful and very kind. May all your hearts heal with the memories and thoughts of him and while remembering his smile, puts a smile on your face. May you rest in peace Michael as your finally home.

I first met Mike at the Granite Curling over 20 years ago. He was new to the sport and after only a few years became a National Champion. He worked very hard at the sport and his tenacity was an inspiration to everybody. But what I remember most is how friendly and gregarious he was. He would always greet you with a warm handshake and a smile. He volunteered a lot of his time and energy to helping the club and its members. It was these great qualities that made Mike a true champion and how he will always be remembered.

Mike, I remember the times that you and I roomed together on the golfing run aways at Squim, and remember how neet you where about everything and how you would lay your cloths out for the next day and everything was folded and we joked that I didn't think I would ever meet anyone as fussy as me! God bless you Mike and I'll see you on the first tee!

What a great guy Mike was. I have such wonderful memories of time spent with him. I am smiling as I sit here and remember a few of those times. I am so sad at his passing and he will be missed. I was just starting to talk and see Mike again after many years. I know he is in a great place, though, and is happier than ever. His family has been and will be in my prayers.

I will always remember the good times had with you Mikie....playing golf, watching football, boating, and hearing the pride in your voice as you spoke of your beautiful family.
I know I will someday again play in your foursome, I will be counting every stroke!
Rest in peace my friend. I am a better person for having known you and I thank you for that.

To Michael,
I will always remember the good times:
May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields & until we meet again may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
To Michaels family:
I pray that you can hold on to those poignant memories of Michael and the memories that were the disease and not really Michael at all let those fade away. I wish you all peace.
Blessings and Love,
Cathy
