Miye Yoshitake Obituary

Miye (Shiogi) YOSHITAKE Miye (Shiogi) Yoshitake, 88, passed away peacefully at home on December 20th. She is survived by her husband Frank of 67 years, and her three daughters, Teresa Hall, Sharon Gilbert and Linda Hussey. Miye and Frank were long time residents of Redmond, WA. They also lived in Seattle and on Marrowstone Island. Miye remained active with gardening, cooking, golfing and travel with family until a month before she passed away after a long battle with cancer. She requested no memorial service. In lieu of memorials, her family asks that you spend time with loved ones, plant a flower, or feed the birds.

We have been good friends with Miye and Frank for 30 years. We traveled all over on golfing trips, up and down the west coast, and locally together. Miye was a special friend to us. They both came over to our house, to help with Yard work and flowers. We enjoyed their company very much. Miye was a special friend to us . She will be greatly missed. Ted and Bernie Setzer

Although I married into the family, Miye made me feel very much a part of it. She always had a smile and a hug for me. When each of my own parents passed away she sent me money to buy a plant to put in my garden in their honor. I planted 2 rose bushes. I will celebrate you, Miye, when spring comes around, by planting a flower in my garden. And tomorrow... I'll feed the birds. I'm so sorry for your loss, Frank, Terri, Sharon & Linda and extended family. Love & Hugs
