Nanette Leonard Obituary

Nanette Naomi LEONARD Passed away 6/9/2007 at her daughter's home in Bellingham, WA. Nanette was born 6/29/1936 in Seattle, and lived in her Bellevue home since 1959. A graduate of Roosevelt H.S., Nan was an accomplished figure skater who won the Pacific Coast Ladies Championship. She retired from Safeco Corp. in 2003 where she worked as an executive secretary for 29 years. Nan's passions were her home, her yard, and her daily walks through Crossroads Park. Survivors include daughter, Pamela (Mark) Rachor, son, Mark (Lorrene) Jensen; grandchildren, Paige and Claire Rachor, Danielle and Joseph Jensen; sister, Jeanne Lyman and family; and dear friend, Marilyn Johnson. She was preceded in death by parents, Jessie Jenner Smith and Allen Stranahan, and by husbands, Robert Jensen and Thomas Hardin. At her request no services will be held. Memorials in her name may be sent to Whatcom Hospice Foundation, 800 E. Chestnut Ste. 1-C, Bellingham, WA 98225.
