Paul was a caring doctor and a brilliant man. I used to call on him when I was a young sales rep for a Pharma company when he officed near Ballard Hospital. Dr Ballard liked to pleasantly challenge and discuss therapeutic options. We both loved to analyze medical articleshe was up to date on the latest researchso I always learned from him. I remember when he purchased a lot near Shilshoal and he designed the basic home plans. Very innovative. He was a renaissance man, so smart beyond medicine. What a nice guyIm sorry I didnt get to say goodbye, to thank him for being a friend and collegial teacher way back then.

I'm glad our paths crossed. You helped me learn forgiveness. May you rest in peace.

We met Paul through his relationship with the Rodolf family of Seattle WA. He really enjoyed getting together with all of us when we would come up to visit...holidays, family get-togethers-any reason to stop by, chat and have some fun. He and my sister Monica Rodolf even stopped by to see us on one of their many car trips together over the years. Always with a hat-his signature piece of attire.
Thank you to his caregiver Paul; we know you showed him much care and kindness in his later years.
His family is/was a piece of Seattle history... interesting to ponder what would Ballard be called if not for the Ballard family? He will be missed...but the memories will be in our hearts always. Rest in peace, Paul.

We were friends and patients of Dr. Ballard for close to 40 years. Bobbie and I will miss him a lot. Stopped by the house last spring, he was doing pretty good. Hope he went without pain. He was a really nice person.

My family will miss Paul deeply! He shared his gift of curiosity with us, and always made us smile.
