Uncle/Grandpa Ray will be missed greatly. Thank you to everyone who shared stories at the service last week. And condolences to all who couldn't come. I'm sure these memories will be shared throughout the Seabeck summer.

I so wish I could join everyone in Seattle this Saturday to remember Ray. (Eat some ice cream for me.) Ray, we'll never forget you.

Ray Nelson was a man highly respected by all that knew him. He was a gentlemen and all the way. He was at the top of the position in his field and rightly so. He treated the new and the old with respect and was fair to all. He will truly be missed by everyone.

Ray Nelson was one of my favorite people. I had great respect for his out look on life and how he treated those around him. Local 52

For the many years I've attended Eliot at Seabeck nearthe Hood Canal I've loved being in Ray's company. He was always upbeat, cheerful and kind. he helped others like it was a privilege to do so, he fed us all icecream with many toppings and made a lot of young kids happy by making their swimming badges. Ray spread a lot of goodwill and positive energy and will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him.

Ray was one of my Eliot friends...I admired his social skills and his willingness to be helpful. His love of his family was palpable and the last time I shared a meal with him and with Makiah when Makiah finished and left Ray turned to me with eyes shining thrilled that his great grandson would be happy to spend time with him...he was a very loving man!
