Always a smile and an outstretched hand. He will be missed here on earth, but welcomed into our Savior's loving arms.

My condolences to all of you during this time. All of my family have many treasured memories of "Rob Notson." I remember many weekend sightseeing trips in the mid-60's when we first moved to Ft. Lewis .....the Seattle Center, Mukilteo, Seattle Waterfront, Mt. Rainier and more. I loved those trips and Rob always seemed to make them so much fun from my 8-9 yr-old perspective. Since that time, I rarely eat smoked salmon, barbeque potato chips or drink root beer without thinking of those outings and the snacks we'd enjoy back at the Notson house afterwards.
My mom was telling me this morning that she and my dad knew Rob for 63 years! Although I did not see him very often as an adult, he definitely remained part of my life as his name was mentioned so often and fondly in favorite stories told around dinner tables and at family gatherings over the years.
