Terry Lee Obituary

Terry Allen Lee

Terry Allen Lee, 57, of Bellevue, WA, peacefully passed on Valentine's Day; he was a man truly built of love. If you knew him, you loved and adored him. He is survived by his beautiful wife Anna, three children (Tania, Michael and Alexandria), son-in-law (Steve) and his beloved grandson, Beau. He was born in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan to Gertrude and Albert Lee (des.). A legend in his own time, Terry was larger than life and will be remembered always. There will be a viewing and blessing Monday evening, 7:00 pm, at Holy Apostles Church in Shoreline, WA. His life will be celebrated Tuesday, February 18: a funeral at Holy Apostles Orthodox Church (11:00 am), burial at Lake View Cemetery and reception to follow at Maplewood Golf Course (Renton, WA). In lieu of gifts or flowers, you are encouraged to donate to Terry's one last unfinished project - a party and BBQ deck at Holy Apostles Church.

Anna.... The answer to your question, "what now?" lies, in part, in Terry's own words..."Take the love you have for me and spread it around."
Your Inglemoor family will always be there for you. Love and hugs, Kristy Gray

Dearest Anna and family,
I am so saddened to hear of this news. It is just too much to comprehend. His legacy of your beautiful children and now a grandchild will be your biggest source of comfort. Sending you heartfelt hugs . . Cheryl Dyer Carlson

To the greatest father a daughter could ask for;
While this is the most difficult experience I have and will likely ever experience, I feel truly grateful and blessed. You were not only my best friend and mentor, but my biggest cheerleader, inspirational solider, and teacher. You taught me how to walk, tie my shoe, love with my whole heart unconditionally, what true compassion is, and graced me with your incredible sense of humor. The marriage you and momma shared was the most beautiful gift you could have given to us 3 kids. I am so grateful that I got to spend your last 10 days of suffering with you at the hospital and to see your room consistantly filled with family and friends full of love; it was a testament to the phenomenal man you were. The last words you were able to struggle out, "you mean the world to me", will be forever treasured in my heart. I know without a doubt I could never asked for a better father, and your lessons, love, humor, spirit and memory will forever live on. I know you are in paradise with the Lord free of pain and sorrow with your father you loved and missed so much and our sweet little pug, Sarge, sitting on your lap. I cannot wait for my day to reunite with you in heaven when my time comes... until then, Tania, Mish, Steve, Beau and I will make sure momma is taken care of and treated like a queen like you did for inspiring 35 years of marriage. I love you more than words could express.
-Your baby girl

I loved Terry so much and also love his wonderful family. I was blessed to be Terry's accountant for many years. We had monthly visits that consisted of a little business, and lots of sharing family news and memories of the past. Terry always especially like to talk about his dad and things I remembered from our childhood. Often we had tears and also laughter. My sympathy to all Terry's family and thanks to them for helping each other and us with his loss.

Whenever I see Terry's picture or think of him I automatically smile. Not just anyone can do that. He made life fun! The first thing we all saw when Terry entered the room was his smile. Our heartfelt condolences to you Anna and your extraordinary family. May the love and strength of family and friends along with your faith help you through this very sad time. And...may the millions of memories bring you each big Terry smiles.

Dearest Anna, your children and all the Lee/Popoff family - I am beyond heartbroken to have heard of Terry's illness and now his passing. There are just no words to express my sorrow. You both had such a gift of a solid marriage and devotion to your family, especially with the arrival of your precious grandson that you are so devoted to. I know all that love will continue to surround you and keep you strong in these difficult times. I love you all so much and my memories of our youth and Terry's devotion will stay in my heart always. I'll smile and think of how he always said, "Oh Ange!". Rest in peace, dear Terry.

Terry & Family,
I knew Terry through my job at Evergreen Environmental Services. I am so glad to have known him and he will be missed not only as an individual but as a premium contractor that we did a lot of projects with. My condolences to the family and I am picturing Terry building something great in the great beyond....

Our hearts ache for Anna and all of Terry"s family over the untimely death of Terry. We will always remember that adorable little blond 4-year-old coming over to our house to play with our children when we were neighbors many years ago. We mourn his loss and send our deepest sympathy to all of his family.

Love, Dolores and Bud Anthony
