Theodore Scoville Obituary

Theodore (Ted) Arthur Scoville

Ted Scoville passed away on March 28, 2016 at his home in Clyde Hill, WA. He was born on Dec. 29, 1934 in Amidon, ND. Ted spent most of his early years in Post Falls, ID and Winifred, MT. He graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and worked for the Boeing Co. for 36 years until his retirement in 1995. A highlight of his Boeing career was a meritorious service award he received for his major contributions to the successful rollout of the 777. He was known by his peers for mild manner and quiet, yet effective leadership as Senior Engineer. Ted was well-read and could carry on an extended detailed conversation on many topics. Ted had a strong work ethic and thrived on accomplishment, doing his own home remodeling, yard work and auto maintenance. He enjoyed spending time with his family at their beach house on Whidbey Island.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; son, Ted Scoville (Marla Bahm); daughters, Tricia Schwartz (Jerry) and Tina Arndt (David); and 5 grandchildren.

A private memorial Mass will be held to celebrate his life.
