Tom LANDIS March 7, 1948 ~ December 15, 2009 Tom spent his childhood enjoying the lakes and rivers of Iowa and Illinois. He later moved to the PNW where he spent the majority of his adult years raising houses and raising his children. He was, among other things, a father, a mentor, a carpenter, a poet, a journalist, and an educator. He wore many hats, and they all fit him perfectly. He is survived by his daughters Lauren and Gia, and his son Will. I worked with Tom at both Shoreline and Bellevue colleges. He was a fine teacher and was committed to his student's success. I'm sorry he's passed as his wisdom will be missed, along with his humor!
