Vivian Johnson Obituary
Vivian passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on November 26, 2014, just a little over a month after celebrating her 90th birthday. She had a smile that could light up a room and unlimited kindness.
Vivian was born on October 20, 1924, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the only daughter of Carl Hugo and Olga Linea Johanson. She was raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, before moving to Seattle, where she attended Adams Elementary and Ballard High School. She married Erick Norman Johnson, a Seattle native, raising four children. She was an active, long-time member of the Eastern Star, Occidental and Doric Chapters, as well as belonging to the Ahmes Court #41, Ladies Oriental Shrine.
Vivian is survived by her brother Melvin Johnson; her sons Larry E. Johnson and Chris V. Johnson, daughters Paulette L. Brewer and Cheryl M. Johnson; grandchildren Donna L. Drazinski, Stephen J. Ofcharick, Christian A. Ofcharick, Benjamin C. Johnson, Lewis E. v.d.L. Johnson, and Victoria Johnson; as well as six great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at Floral Hills Cemetery on December 2, 2014, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please offer a prayer for peace and kindness.

Vivian, or Mrs. Johnson to me for the first 10 years of our meeting, was a person that wanted to make everyone happy. She was kind, funny, sincere, giving, and an all-around great lady! I never heard her say a mean word about anyone. I'm so glad I was able to sit next to Viv at her 90th birthday dinner celebration, and share a story and toast. Thank you Viv, for letting me hang-out at your house during those middle school and high school years with Cheryl! You were always special to me!

Vivian worked at my office in Woodinville for many years. She actually began working at the age of 65! She was an amazing woman and was loved and apprciated by co-workers and customers alike. No matter the weather, or how she was feeling, she showed up and worked hard. She was so very funny as well. We loved her and loved working with her. She actually retired after she had hip surgery and then ended up coming back to work because she missed it! I am not surprised to see that she managed to make it to 90 years of age because nothing got her down. I just love Vivian and thankful for the years we had together.
