As a new enrollee at Queen Anne Jr Sr High in Nov, 1961, Mr. Arnhart escorted me out to the portable on the field for my current math class already in progress. I remember him as a wonderful educator and a firm counselor with some of the trouble makers in our class!
My sincere sympathy to the family in the loss of your beloved Dad...

I was fortunate to have Warren as a friend. I always appreciated his smile, followed soon by a hearty laugh!

I wss fortunate to have Warren as a customer at Claire's Pantry in Lake City many years after attending Queen Anne. Really got to see a whole other side of the man...he was a character! Seattle schools could really use a strong leader like him today!!!

I am very sorry to hear of Warren Arnhart's passing. He was the principal at McClure Junior High School during my time there, and struck a great balance between being tough, strong, and demanding while also being supportive of and sympathetic to most everyone. My father was a teacher and administrator in the Seattle schools concurrent with Mr. Arnhart, and through him and others I also came to know how highly respected Mr. Arnhart was by his colleagues. I hadn't seen him in ages, but have thought of him from time to time, and now send my deepest condolences and respects to his entire family.
Sincerely,
July 13, 2015
