William George Obituary

William P. GEORGE (Bill) 7-19-47 to 5-31-09 Bill was an amazingly generous father, grandfather, brother and friend. Bill would help anyone in need who came to him, and advocated strongly for people, even at their lowest points when the world seemed to have forgotten about them. He was staunchly devoted to his family, and spared nothing to help them in any way he could; at times, to his own detriment. Bill left us all too soon, while doing what he loved, dirt bike riding with his grandson Jordan. His loss comes as a shock to all of those who knew and loved him; but we are comforted in knowing he died doing something that made him happy. Left behind are his daughter Jessica (Jim), grandchildren Jordan and Emily, Son, Tyson, brothers Bob (Becky), Tom and too many friends to name. Bill lived his life to the fullest, and we hope that the legacy he leaves with those who knew him is to do what makes you happy and take care of each other. No services will be held. There will be a party held on his birthday, July 19th, at his home.

I am so sorry to learn of Bill's passing. He was a WONDERFUL friend to my parents, Oly and Marsha - I can't even remember when he and dad first started playing pool together - that's how long he has been a part of our lives. I can't believe he is gone. Bill surely loved his family and friends, and was loved in return. I hope that you will always hold in your hearts all of the memories that Bill left you with. He will be greatly missed.

Dearest Jessie,Jim,Jordan, Tyson,Emily & Georges....
My sincere condolences....I am in total shock over learning about Bill's passing.
This man had so much love for all of you,and that kind of love just never dies. How honored I was to know him as a
brother-in law and beloved friend. He really was an all around great man. I loved his enthusiasm for life, sports, fishing, his strong carpentries abilities, his jokes and countless times he was there whenever he was needed. He was so devoted to all of you,he was the best of the best. What a brave man he was to serve this country in the Vietnam war. He was a dad,father-in- law, a grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that will never leave our hearts. Until we meet him again at heavens gate...my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Much love to all....
