Beverly Pfeiffer Obituary
Beverly graduated from Oak Park High School and attended Baker University before earning her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from the University of Arkansas. She later received her Master of Science in Human Development and Gerontology from the University of Missouri.
On June 3, 1972, she married Richard Pfeiffer at the First Christian Church in North Kansas City, Missouri. They made their home in Sedalia, where Beverly dedicated 38 years to the University of Missouri Extension Service in Pettis County. Her work reflected her deep commitment to helping others and strengthening her community.
In 2022, Beverly and Richard moved to Lee's Summit to be closer to family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Lisa Sevick of Kansas City, and her beloved grandson, Zachary, who brought her immense joy.
Beverly will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, infectious laugh, and love of good company. She found joy in meeting new people, lending a helping hand, and spending summer weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks with Dick and Lisa-hosting friends and family, and creating cherished memories.
A private celebration of life will be held with close friends and family to honor Beverly's legacy of love, service, and joy.

I knew Beverly through during her years of working at the Extension office. And remained a friend for many years after that! She was a lovely person, fun, interesting and full of knowledge! She always could cheer you up when you needed it. She loved her family and showed it . Love to the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you!

We lived next door to Beverly and Dick. Such wonderful people. Beverly was a lovely lady and very sweet. I was so sorry to hear of her passing.
