She worked as optician in Sedalia for several years and also taught English as a second language for a short period of time.

Survivors include three children, Amy S. Tackitt (Garry) of Gepp, AR, Kenneth W. Holstine (Lori) of West Plains, MO, Bethany W. Rimel of Odessa, MO; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one on the way; a brother, Joe Presley (Ruth) and a sister, Nora Wilson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Presley (Ruth), Jack Presley (Joan) and sister, June Zuercher (Curt); and a brother-in-law, Wayne Wilson.
She will be interred at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
