Rose Ann Menefee-Ressel died on August 22, 2021. She was born May 21, 1943, in Sedalia, MO. She married her soulmate Wallace Ressel November 14, 1964, and enjoyed 42 years of a loving marriage. She spent many years as a catholic and public school teacher positively affecting many lives. It would be common that grown adults would approach her in public places saying, "Hello Mrs. Ressel" and telling her how their lives have been. She was a faithful practitioner at Prince of Peace in Olathe and the simplest of things in life brought her joy. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother to her growing family. She loved going to the Lake of the Ozarks, traveling, and having family barbeques. She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Ressel, her parents E.W. and Mary Dugan-Menefee, brothers Bill, John, Terry, and Tony Menefee. She leaves behind her children Jeremy Ressel, Mary Boxler (husband Len Boxler), Aaron Ressel (wife Heather Ressel) grandchildren Brytnie Ressel, Nathan Ressel (wife Kayla Provenzo), Daniel Boxler (wife Marlee Boxler), Zak Boxler, Jamie Phiakeo, Jennifer Manhnieo, great grandchildren Dalton Ressel, Aerabella Ressel, Landon Phiakeo, brother Jim Menefee, and sisters Mary Ann Donelson, Elizabeth O'Dowd, and Patricia Menefee. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Sunday evening August 29th at Penwell-Gable funeral home 14275 S Black Bob Rd Olathe, KS 66062. Followed by a service Monday August 30th with a 10 am visitation and rosary and 11 am mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sedalia, MO. Burial at Calgary Cemetery in Sedalia, MO. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association
