John Wright Obituary
BLOOMDALE -- John Wright, 78, of Bloomdale, died at 8:05 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Brookdale of Bowling Green. He was born on January 7, 1947, in Findlay to the late Harold and Ree (Fries) Wright. He married Sheryl Rothenbuhler and she preceded him in death on August 30, 2025.
John is survived by his son, Andrew (Christine) Wright of Cygnet; brother, Rick (Nan) Wright of Bloomdale; grandchildren: Tyler Wolleson and Mallory Shrewsberry; great-grandchildren: Liberty Shrewsbury and Landen Siebert.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Matthew Wright; brothers: Mearl, Max, Harold Jr., Carl and Jim; sisters: Maudeen Wright, Carolyn Beard and Martha Tyson.
John was a 1965 graduate of Elmwood High School, and retired from Sprint.
A private graveside service will be held in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township.
Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore.
Memorial contributions may be made to Smith-Crates Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Street, North Baltimore, OH 45872.
