FOSTORIA -- Margaret Ann Butcher, 83, of Fostoria, passed away at 5:32 pm Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Independence House, Fostoria.
She was born November 29, 1941 in Findlay to the late Ray and Evelyn (Shroeder) Weiker. She married Donald L. Butcher on December 19, 1959 in Michigan and he preceded her in death in 1978.
Surviving are sons, Timothy L. Butcher and Thomas L. (Kim) Butcher; daughter, Tamara K. (Jim) Hallman all of Fostoria; grandchildren, Melanie Meddles, Brent Hoerig, Matt Butcher, Bryan Butcher, Ryan Hoerig and Zachary Butcher; great-grandchildren, Logan Meddles, Van Hoerig, Landon Meddles, Logan Latowski, Brayden Hoerig, Skylyn Hoerig, Christian Butcher and Hayden Butcher; sister in law, Nancy Weiker, Michigan. She was also predeced in death by a brother, Ray Weiker Jr.; longtime companion Dale Wisman; and daughter in law, Missy Butcher.
Margaret was a 1959 graduate of Bloomdale High School. She had worked at Consolidated Biscuit.
Memorial visitation is Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 4-5pm at Hoening & Son Funeral Home 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, OH 44830, where a celebration of life service will begin at 5 pm with Chaplain Linda Davison presiding. A luncheon and gathering will then follow in the funeral home reception area. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Twp.

Margaret will be missed. Will miss her sharing several Thanksgiving dinners with us in my home. Deepest Sympthay to her Family and especially my Son-in-law Tom and his Sister and Brother ,Tammy and Tim.
