RISINGSUN -- Mary Julia Bates of Risingsun, Ohio passed away Monday morning surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on May 13, 1927 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Orlando Coral and Louise (Ritzman) Ridenhour. She married Gayle E. Bates on March 21, 1946 in Bowling Green, Ohio and he is deceased. Mary is survived by her children, Rick (Robin) Bates of Kansas, Judy Miller & Rosemary Miller of Fremont, Gail "Lynne" (Ernie) Russell of Kansas and Jodi Bates of Bowling Green she has 15 Grandchildren 20 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, her son, Paul David Bates, brothers, Gerald Fredrick & Coral, sisters Freda, Delores & Mae.
Mary was a1945 graduate of Bowling Green High School, a homemaker, she retired from the Ex Cello Co in Fostoria with over 20 years of service and a member of the Risingsun Church of God.
Funeral services will be private with burial in Bradner Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. The Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home is assisting the family with services. Online Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hffh.net.
