BOWLING GREEN -- Pamela Bowser-Potter, 59, Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away July 1, 2024. Lovingly known as "Pammy" by her closest family and friends, she will be sorely missed.
Born February 11, 1965 to Richard and Carol Bowser (Youngpeter) of Bowling Green, Ohio, she attended BGHS and BGSU. In 2023 her father preceded her in death. Pam is the youngest of sisters Linda Schoenitz (Michael) and Carolyn Jordan.
Pam spent her career at BGSU: 25 years in Continuing Education and six years in The Center for Faculty Excellence where she developed many lifelong friendships!
Pam married the love-of-her-life, Alan L. Potter in 1984, and they were an inseparable couple! They have 2 children: Alan Potter II (Heather) and Alyssa Chandler (Kristopher). "Grandma Potter" loved being a "Boy Grandma" to Archer and Adam Potter and Emerson Chandler. She leaves behind her very special nieces, nephew and cousins.
Pam and Alan spent their summers at their cottage at Bird Lake in Osseo, Michigan, and their winters at their home in Englewood, Florida. When 2018 rolled around and when the grand babies began arriving, they had to get a condo in BG too- couldn't be too far away!
In Pam's name, donations may be gifted to the Wood County Humane Society.
