Shirley was married to the late Vivian Dean Greene for 27 years and, from this union, 3 children were born in addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her 6 brothers Dennis Green, Frank Payne, John Payne, Albert Payne, Billy Payne and David Payne and 1 sister, Winnie Loving.
Left to love and cherish her memory are 2 sons, Viron Greene of Ozark, AL and Jermaine (Vonda) Greene of Frankfort, KY; 1 daughter, Dawn Greene (Edrick Walker) of Atlanta, GA; 3 sisters, Ella Ford and Mary Helen Payne of Louisville, KY and Hallie (June) Loving of Shelbyville, KY; her dearest and best friend of over 70 years, Ruth Ann Clemons of Jacksonville, FL, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-8 P.M. Thursday, March 12th at the funeral home.
