Kathy Marie Robinson, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on November 27, 2024, at the Linda E. White Hospice in Evansville, Indiana. She was 57 years old.
Born on November 26, 1967, in Peoria, Illinois, to Imogene Dawson Ritter and Richard "Dickie" Ritter, Kathy attended Vincennes University in 2012, earning an Associate of Science degree. Following her education, she dedicated 12 years to Goodwill Industries as a manager, retiring in 2022 due to declining health.
Kathy had a deep love for the springtime and cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She found joy in simple pleasures like listening to her favorite songs, watching her favorite shows, and especially, spending time with her beloved grandson, Giovonni. Her heart overflowed with pride and affection for him.
Kathy is survived by her children: Jhackline Marie Robinson of Peoria, Illinois; DaMarco Dane Robinson (Alicia Schuitema) of Bridgeport, Illinois; Clarence June Cowley of Terre Haute, Indiana; Stephanie Edwina Robinson Cato (Donnie Cato) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and Steven Edward Robinson Ill of Vincennes, Indiana. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Giovonni Cato, Kylah Cowley, Maleki Chamness, Malaya Cowley, and Clarence Cowley Jr.; and her spouse, Cornelious Tims; her siblings Darlene Shird, Lenora Dawson, and Isaac Dawson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Imogene Dawson Ritter and Richard Ritter, and her grandson, Amarii James Black.
Kathy was known for her kind heart, infectious smile, and positive spirit. She touched the lives of many with her generosity and unwavering optimism. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
