Jay Rutland Jr.
Aug. 15, 1946 – Sept. 14, 2021

Jay Rutland Jr., 75, of Gore, died on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, in Tulsa. He was born on Aug. 15, 1946, in Oklahoma City to Dale Rutland and June (Atchison) Rutland.
No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
He was a truck driver. After retirement he spent a lot of time on Lake Tenkiller, boating and rooting for the Oklahoma Sooners.
He married Diane Schwartz on Nov. 20, 1971, in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Rutland of the home; one son, Jim of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Kristi of Little Rock, Ark.; one granddaughter; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Rob and Joey.
