Renesmee 'Nessie' Nimesheim

Funeral services for Renesmee "Nessie" Nimesheim, 16, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, at Trinity Methodist Church in Muldrow.
Burial was at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
She was born on June 29, 2009, in Fort Smith to Matthew John Nimesheim and Nora Grace (Sanford) Butler. She died on Monday, Sept. 20, 2025, in Fort Smith.
She was a student.
Survivors include her mother and father both of Fort Smith; two sisters, Emilea Curruth and Anthony Curruth of Fort Smith and Brookelynn Nimesheim August Mizell of Fort Smith; one brother, John Nimesheim of Fort Smith; and other family members and friends.
Pallbearers were Andrew Heberlie, Anthony Curruth, John "L.J." Nimesheim,, Chris Sanford and Joe Presson.
