Sue Burton Cline, 88, of Gans, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025 in Barling, Ark.
She was born on October 9, 1936, in Gans, to Alsie (Hicks) Foyil and William Foyil.
Sue was a nurse for Dr. Joe Mason for 40 years and loved to play marbles, bingo, and was always rooting for the Sooners.
Survivors are her grandson, Preston Waters of Santa Fe, N.M.; several cousins, other relatives and friends including her 1955 classmate, Gertie Barber of Gans; her former daughter-in-law, Cindy Swain; and Elaine Turner, whom she also loved like family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob Cline, and her son David Waters.
In keeping with Sue's wishes, a private service will be held by the family.

Sue and I loved each other as if we were sisters. We shared many memories and laughs about our former years of attending school at Gans from first grade until we graduated in 1955. We kept closely in contact throughout the years, and she will truly be missed.
