My sister, Sherie Koshover, introduced me and my family to Ada many years ago. Ada's kindness, love, and generosity of heart will always remain with us. To Ada, my sister was like a daughter and my mom, like a sister. We will cherish Ada's notes that accompanied her gifts over the years. To her sons: it was an honor and privilege to know your mom. I was always comforted by the fact that my sister, Sherie, had such a "geeta nashuma" with whom to share her life. Ada was truly one of a kind, and this world would be such a better place with more hearts and kindnesses like Ada's. May Ada's memory be forever a blessing.

Even though Ada and our family were thousands of miles away from each other, we remained very close. During holidays Ada always remembered us with with wonderful pastries. When we would visit, she always had a wonderful dinner at her home. We love you Adela and will always remember your kindness and love making you a one of a kind. I will miss you. Rest in peace, my dearest Adela. Love always, Sara Koshover, Cincinnati, OH

To Ada's family,
We knew Ada for almost 20 years from 1979-1996 when we adopted Frida Hopp and Erna Goldberg, sisters at the Jewish Home where my husband worked after finishing his social work degree. They became our dear bubbies in California, held our babies, came to our home for Pesach, and Ada was very much a part of their lives as Jews bound up by the legacy of the Shoah. We supported Ada in her care for these two wonderful women, as she was committed to all Jews, and we supported her efforts through their lives and deaths. We will remember her as very much part of our early lives in San Francisco and her legacy of commitment to Jewish tradition, peoplehood and institutions lives on.
