My sincere condolances to you regarding Alan's passing away...we were all such a vibrant exciting group some 35 years ago...and it was a pleasure to know you and Alan, and Laurel, and Larry Negri, and oh so many others...during my wonderful years in San Francisco...I'm so sorry for your loss.

I just heard of Alan's passing today from my sister. Alan played a very important part in my life and the memories of our friendship are very dear to me. I send my condolences to Lyllian and Alan's family. I always thought of their marriage as one of the few shining examples of a good one.

Hi Lillian,
You and Alan's family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am lucky to have spent so much time with him. He will always be in my memory as a kind, sensitive man, a great photographer, a great Giants enthusiast and a lover of snickers bars!
