Passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024, at the age of 97. Beloved spouse of Adolf Usoz for 74 years; loving mother of Stephen; caring grandmother of Melissa and Michael (Haley); and adoring great-grandmother of Brooke Ashley.
Alice attended Commerce HS in SF. She was a member of the Union Espanola and met her future husband there in 1949. Her parents were immigrants from the Spanish/French Basque region, with the family residing in San Francisco. As a cub scout den mother (Den 2), she was beloved and is remembered by her scouts of St. Anne's. She worked at Sapanaur Realty and for the SF Court system during her professional career. A world traveler, she journeyed with all generations of her family throughout Europe, visiting her family in France and Spain, cruising to Alaska, sailing in the Caribbean, and most recently going to Wyoming on multiple trips to see "her horses". Alice had a special spot in her heart for "my doggies, Zeus and Freya." She was a devoted babysitter for her grandchildren, and recently met her great-granddaughter, which was a joyful highlight for her.
Friends may visit on Thursday, December 5, after 10:00 a.m., with a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m., at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City, CA. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA.

Steven and family,
I was so sorry to read of your mother´s passing. Alice was my mother´s (Rosemary )best friend in high school and her maid of honor when she was married to my dad. My sisters middle name was Alice and your mom was my God mother. I have good memories of her visiting when I was young. It sounds like she had A great life. I wish you all the best and peace during this sad time.
