An-Tai Wang Obituary

An-Tai Wang, novelist "Wang Mo-Jen"
January 4, 1934 - December 30, 2020
An-Tai Wang passed away suddenly at home on December 30, 2020. An-Tai is survived by his wife Anne, his son and daughter, and three grandchildren.

An-Tai was born in China and moved to Taiwan after World War II. He did his undergraduate studies at National Taiwan Normal University. He was part of Taiwan ROC arm forces.

In 1970, he met and married his beloved wife, Anne, in Taiwan. They moved with their son Stewart to San Francisco from 1984 to 1985. An-Tai called San Francisco his home for 35 years.

An-Tai continued his passion as a novelist through working as a Chinese newspaper editor and the Chinese TV news producer.

An-Tai continues to contribute to philanthropic causes through his "Wang Mo-Jen Foundation".

An-Tai will be dearly missed, but we take solace in knowing he lived his life to the full.
