With deep sadness, I was shocked to hear about Andy's passing at such a young age. I thought of him as relatively quiet, introverted, but a nice guy when you get to know him. Andy & I have not crossed paths much since I got married 25 years ago, but prior to that, we were bowling buddies when I worked in San Mateo during the 1984-85 timeframe, then white-water rafting partners a few years later when we rafted down the Rogue (Oregon) and Green (Colorado) Rivers on week-long expeditions.
I will miss crossing paths with him again ...
